Description
The Italian gardens at Royal Roads Hatley Castle in Victoria British Columbia Canada. An elegant formal garden walkway with large blooming planters lead to the balustrade that overlooks the estate gardens.

I also painted this same scene in watercolor which you can see in my watercolor gallery. As a side story, as a young child, my father worked at this estate as an administrator and we lived on the grounds. This garden was one of the many places I would go to.
