Clifford Benjamin Brown, also known as "Brownie", was an American jazz trumpeter. He died at the age of 25 in a car accident, leaving behind only four years' worth of recordings. He influenced later jazz trumpet players including Booker Little, Freddie Hubbard, Lee Morgan. He was also a composer of note: two of his compositions, "Joy Spring" and "Daahoud", have become jazz standards. Original gouache and watercolor on paper by David Lloyd Glover
David Lloyd Glover has a 25-year international reputation exhibiting in major galleries in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan. At the age of 18 he was a full-time newspaper and magazine illustrator. For his many galleries, Glover has created images ranging from Impressionist landscapes to Iconic pop art images of Jazz artists, Rock stars and vintage automotive.
