One of my favorites are the magnificent rhododendron trees in Vancouver, B.C. You need a lot of rain and an acid soil to grow these huge blossoming trees. I literally climb inside the trees to capture the massive blooms as they explode in full splendor every spring. THIS IS NOT A PHOTOGRAPH. You are seeing a hand painted transparent watercolor on paper.
