About David Lloyd Glover
David Lloyd Glover has a 25-year international reputation exhibiting in major galleries in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan. At the age of 18 he was a full-time newspaper and magazine illustrator. William, thanks for the comment. As I recall my only artistic license was floating the image of ole Shel above the scene with the enameled GT 350 logo. I think it was Shel who said the reason for the 350 because that was about how many feet away the Mustang was parked from his office when he was dreaming up a moniker. I did the painting about 7 or 8 years ago and the photo references I used were from races that took place somewhat before that time. A popular seller for prints this image is.
