The Newport Car Museum, Portsmouth RI has commissioned David Lloyd Glover to create a new mural. The incredible racing car as driven by Stirling Moss to victory, the MERCEDES 300 SLR (1955) has been acquired by the museum and will go on public display along with this backdrop mural. The original painting was created with transparent watercolor.

First published in the Walter Foster Book "Seasons in Acrylic" as a step by step demonstration, the beautiful spring garden was put up for auction February 1st 2022. Seller was Barry Chappell's Fine Art Showcase of Hollywood, California.

Tom Payne's original 1964 AC Cobra 289 Competition. As it looked when he raced the car and how it looks today at the Newport Car Museum, Portsmouth RI. Tom Payne was called "The Gentleman Racer" because on one occasion he was delayed in arriving at Mosport raceway and had to drive in his business suit. You can see that in this painting. Original painting transparent watercolor on paper by David Lloyd Glover. The painting will be reproduced to a full size wall mural and installed with the Cobra in the museum.

Perhaps the best jazz pianist of the last century was Bill Evans. Bill was called the "Mozart of Jazz' by his colleagues for his incredible playing and intricate compositions. "Waltz for Debby" is probably his best known jazz standard. His alma mater Southeastern Louisiana University celebrates their famous music department alumn in the fall issue of their magazine. The cover story features the original painting of Bill Evans "Quintessence" by artist David Lloyd Glover. Bill Evans studied for two years at the university before moving to New York to embark on his storied career.
