Chevrolet created an automotive legend with the Z28. Starting with the 1967 year a race tuned suspension, steering and brakes gave the car razor sharp handling. A small block 302 with a 4 barrel carb developed an advertised 290 hp but was likely more. The exhaust tube headers were delivered in the trunk of the car. The exhaust system was chambered and was the least restrictive of any GM car you could buy. There was also a factory installed dual quad option available.
