Description
Virginia Robinson owned the world famous Beverly Hill Department Store -- ROBINSONS. Her exclusive Beverly Hills estate was home to many lavish parties with Hollywood's biggest stars as her guests. The home was willed to the City of Beverly Hills and it is open a few times a year for garden tours. I have done a number of watercolor paintings of the gardens.

Outstanding photo, David! Beautiful place to take photos or do paintings. And, thanks so much for the short history lesson on this place. Always fun to learn something about the artist or the works along with the beauty! Submit to Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery for FEATURING, if you haven't as of yet.

I'm amazed at how many tiny white spaces are in your watercolors, and what I wonder what method you used. It must have been very painstaking, as watercolor runs, unless you applied white paint on top(?). I would love to know your process. I haven't painted very much with watercolor but I would like to. I love the reflection in the window. Beautiful.
