Description
A studio painting from a plein aire sketch. In this painting I use a wetter mix of acrylic paint. The main part of the painting is done with a 2" bristle brush. The tree details I use a #4 chisel edged bristle brush. The leaves were done with a 1" flat edged brush. I have some favorite brushes that are over 15 years old. Are they expensive brushes? Heck no, the best brushes for my style are the cheapest. I like slightly uneven edges of the bristles.
