Description
No, this is not a photograph. This is a transparent watercolor on paper painting. Any of you who paint in watercolor will know that painting red flowers is most difficult. Red paints tend to go dull if you apply it incorrectly. These flower petals in this "Bee's Eye" view uses many hues of reds in order to create the natural color of the rose.

The original watercolor hangs over my fireplace mantle. My wife will never let me sell it.
